Additionally, consider helping local small businesses, such as restaurants, retail, services by purchasing gift cards for use at a later date (list found below).
FIRST CHURCH OF CHRIST CHRISTMAS FAIR
WHEN: Saturday, December 4 from 9:00 a.m. to noon
WHERE: First Church of Christ, Congregational at 2183 Main Street, Glastonbury
DETAILS: The fair will raise funds for scholarships to youth wanting to attend the yearly choir camp and will feature : crafts, Christmas wreaths, specialty gift tags, decorative hand towels, quilts, table runners, masks, jellies, Butter Braids pastries and more!

DETAILS: Skilled and dedicated local artisans will be set up along Main Street for you to visit.
CHILDREN'S HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR
Hosted by Girl Scouts of Connecticut
WHEN: Saturday, December 4 from 9-12 PM
WHERE: Marlborough Elementary School
DETAILS: All items are handmade by Girl Scouts and priced at $5 or less. There is also free gift wrapping and a bake shop. All proceeds benefit participating Girl Scout Troops.
MOMS OF GLASTONBURY HOLIDAY SHOP
WHEN: Saturday, December 4 from 12-3 PM
WHERE: Glastonbury Dance Center at 50 Main Street, East Hartford
DETAILS: Features "mom-peneurs". Vendors include women's clothes, books, face painting, balloon animals, baked goods, pet gifts, craft bundles to make your own art, customized ornaments and wreathes. Collecting new jammies for Oliver's Pajama Project and raising money through a raffle for the boys and girls of DCF.
2021 EAST HARTFORD HOLIDAY FEST

DETAILS: The four-day event consists of over 25 various fun events ranging between crafts and book sales, carol signing and Christmas Fair as well as the long-awaited visit from Santa. The events cater to all ages, children and adults alike. Most activities are free and open to the public.
WESLEYAN POTTERS 66TH ANNUAL EXHIBIT AND SALE
WHEN: Wednesday through Sundays through December 12 from 10-6 PM

DETAILS: Wesleyan Potters, Inc. is a non-profit craft school +cooperative guild and one of the oldest juried craft shows in New England.

HOLIDAY BAZAAR & FESTIVAL 4 LUKE
WHEN: Saturday, December 18 from 11 – 5 PM
WHERE: Irish American Home Society at 132 Commerce Street, Glastonbury
DETAILS: The activities for both kids and adults included are cookie decorating, letters to Santa, ornament decorating, and face painting. There will be an Elf performance, handmade craft vendors, holiday shopping, food trucks, and an opportunity to take photos with The Grinch & Santa (who will be giving favors)! Love 4 Luke supports pediatric cancer treatments, research, and families struggling through the tragic loss of a child that renders them financially and emotionally distressed.
